电子游戏高手朱事丁（郝邵文 饰）是个落寞的小孩，父亲朱义成（吴孟达 饰）、母亲宝英丹、兄长朱事文（吴家乐 饰）各忙各事，视朱事丁为讨人嫌的小东西。孤独的朱事丁捡到一张名为“黄金岛历险记”的游戏光碟，好奇试玩时居然连同兄长一起被吸入游戏中去。兄弟两人降落在混乱的海盗战场，不幸被海盗掳走。原来这群海盗的海盗船被黄金岛守护者小龙（释小龙 饰）锁在海湾，唯有偷到钥匙解锁才能出海，朱事文不慎落水，被黄金岛少女小仙（徐若瑄 饰）搭救，同时，海盗船长（楼学贤 饰）收朱事丁为义子，并怂恿他偷窃钥匙。游戏中的朱事丁为完成任务接近小龙，而真实世界中的父母正设法搭救电视机中的儿子……。Bunker investigates the lonely lives of American men who have decided to live in decommissioned military bunkers and nuclear missile silos, and follows the process of building and selling these structures to the wealthy and not-so-wealthy alike.
